Licensing pursuant to the Property, Stock and
Business Agents Act 2002
|
The Property, Stock and Business
Agents Act 2002 (the Act), regulates the licensing of people working in
the property and real estate industry. There are six distinct licence
categories:
- Real Estate Agent
- Business Agent
- Stock and Station Agent
- Strata Managing Agent

Manager
- Buyers
Agent
For each of these categories of
licence, you are required to be assessed as competent in order to gain the
relevant licence. Each licence category has a specific number of
competencies that need to be attained, for successful assessment to be
achieved. Below, the competencies have been listed for each of the six
categories of licence. Also detailed for each licence category are the
necessary training modules required to achieve these competencies. If you
need to complete the nominated training module, you will be directed to
the Training Schedule within this site to view the next available
dates and registration details for that course. |
